What IDE is easy to setup with 0.8.0 , window XP 32 bit?
I use code::blocks 10.5 with 0.7.1 well, but code::blocks 10.5 won’t work with 0.8.0,can not compile examples.
so I download code::blocks 12.11, which compile examples well, but fail to run.
some information in debug mode:

So anyone using 0.8.0 well on windows XP, please tell me which IDE is compatible well with OF 0.8.0?
Thanks you very much!

I’m on 64bit Windows 7, and code::blocks 12.11 works with 0.8.0 for me.

Here’s a shot in the dark, but I saw at least one other person had your problem on stackoverflow:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5458854/debugging-in-codeblocks-doesnt-seem-to-work-missing-debugging-symbols.

Any chance you have some non-ascii characters in your project path?

Thank you very much! I have used OF for 1 years, but now I find I know little about it, how it works, how cross platform is realized, how different IDE project files can be changed to make file?
Do you know how to get some deep knowledge about OF?

I just started out in openFrameworks this month. I wish I could be more help there, so hopefully someone else jumps in on this.

I would say hanging around the forums and asking questions would be a good start.
