uislider change #define NUM_POINTS?

I’ve tried this many different ways and at this point I’m not sure which was is up. Looking for some guidance on using a UISlider to change the value of (for example) NUM_POINTS. Am I unable to change in it’s current form because the value of a #define is static?

I guess what I want to know is can I use a slider to change the value of NUM_POINTS?

#defines are hard coded in at compile time. They can’t be changed at run time. Use a global instead?

Or did I not understand you?
