is there anyway to start working or thinking about openframworks and touchlib
sure! - there is someone working on an OSC addon for OF, and it looks like the reativision protocol it runs on sits on top of OSC… I’m not sure the E.T.A for the addon, but I’ll check – we are going to put a bunch of them up soon at any rate.
additionally, I will be posting soon some code which does fingertip tracking based on the contour (not using the lit surface FIR approach of touchlib) which might be useful for folks. this uses curvature info, it’s described well here:
