Standard deviation in openCV

Hi folks,

Does anybody know about how to go about getting the mean and standard deviation of pixel values in an image or region of an image? I know there’s a function in openCV called cvAvgSdv which should do the trick but I don’t know how to call it using OF…

Can anyone help?

if you have an ofxCvImage you can call getCvImage() to get the underlying OpenCV CvImage* pointer. then you can use that with raw OpenCV calls.
