[solved] trouble with ofQTKit to load in projects

greetings all,

after some headbanging [not the music kind] and also a nice helpful reply email from mr lieberman, im moving into QTKit territory.
ive played with the examples. but actually getting it up on my own projects is becoming really annoying. from what i have found online, is that it is in the latest oF [0073]. but creating new projects, and calling it up doesnt work, or at least for myself.

also when using the flightphase examples [ofQTKitPlayer & ofQTKitGrabber] and downloads for it [https://github.com/Flightphase], it just does not seem to work at all.
actually i lie, it does work on the ‘osxHighPerformanceVideoPlayer’ example. but i just cant get it to call on my new projects.
im using mountain lion and xcode 4.5.2. i also have the 10.6 sdk as well as other command line tools for it if that helps.

here is some sample code to see on my .h file

#pragma once

#include "ofMain.h"

class testApp : public ofBaseApp{

	public:
		void setup();
		void update();
		void draw();

		void keyPressed  (int key);
		void keyReleased(int key);
		void mouseMoved(int x, int y );
		void mouseDragged(int x, int y, int button);
		void mousePressed(int x, int y, int button);
		void mouseReleased(int x, int y, int button);
		void windowResized(int w, int h);
		void dragEvent(ofDragInfo dragInfo);
		void gotMessage(ofMessage msg);

    ofQTKitPlayer theOverview;
    bool frameByframe;

    void audioReceived (float * input, int bufferSize, int nChannels);
    float maxLevel;

    //ofVideoPlayer theOverview;

    //ofTexture fullScreen;

};

a sloppy kiss and a thank you to anyone who can help get this off the ground

please excuse this. but i think i have found the problem.

for one, i just think things were not connecting right. i did delete the examples from flightphase and put them in again. just restart it mainly
and two. used the super awesome projectGenerator to handle all the guff.
that seems to have loaded up QTKit for me with no hitch. lovely. now i can continue my patch :wink:
