[SOLVED]Openssl not installed - UbuntuStudio 18.10

#1

Hi, I’m trying to compile the opencvHaarFinderExample and keep on getting this:

openssl not installed. Did you run the latest install_dependencies.sh?. Stop.

Although, if I type:

dpkg -s openssl

it reports it’s installed. Tried to compile OF itself as I can’t remember if I have compiled it, and I keep on getting this error along with the following:

there has been a problem compiling Debug OF library
please report this problem in the forums

Any ideas?

I just downloaded the latest version from the OF website and everything compiled fine! Earlier I was trying with the 0.9.8 version. Sorry for the noise…
