Simple question AreaLight

Hi guyz,

does anyone know if areaLight provides reflection of the mesh affected by the light?
or do I write my shader for this?

I want to reflect my model on the plane, I know how to do this with GLSL, but I was wondering if this is a work that takes place already ofLight and ofMaterial.

no there’s no reflection or shadow in ofMaterials. in master now you can add extra code to the default shaders using the new settings object, there’s documentation on how to use it in the comments for ofMaterial
