Scene graph and OF


I am trying to create a scene hierarchy with simple primitives using the of3DPrimitive type. I have declared the ofPlanePrimitive to be the root and rest of the other primitives(core,sphere,box,etc.) as its children.

Now if i rotate the plane primitive should not the rest of the primitives that are children of the plane primitive rotate as well ?

But i am no having this effect as I am assuming. Only the plane primitive is rotating with the time step and rest of the children remain still in the scene.

Any idea/references to look into?
