Running audio in the background

Hello all,

I’m relatively new to this, so this may be a stupid question. I’ve based my prototype on the audioOutputExample and am I’m having trouble keeping any audio running when the application suspends. I’ve looked around for some direction and’ve come up empty handed (outside the UIBackgroundMode = audio which doesn’t work), so any help is greatly appreciated.

Did you find a solution for this? I’m having exactly the same issue, where I need to run audio during background running of my app. Setting the UIBackgroundModes to “audio” in the plist does nothing for me either.

Any advice would be very much appreciated! Thanks.

I am not sure of the exact solution, but I suspect that it is half here:

and requires modification to this:

In addition to any modifications to the plist.
