I’m trying to use the full resolution of my iPhone but when I set settings.enableRetina = true, ofGetScreenWidth() returns different values in the simulator and on the device.
As a result, the images in the simulator are approx. 2/3 the scale they should be.
with settings.enableRetina=false everything makes sense and the simulator behaves identically to the device, but I’m missing the resolution.
Is there a trick to have more available pixels without having to set settings.enableRetina=true?
This would be ideal since I have already taken the non retina touch.x/y coords into account…
