I’ve been digging into ways to record video input from camera to disk using openframeworks. For that I used an add-on called ofxQtVideoSaver.cpp.
First I grab frames from camera using the videoGrabber method, and then save frames on a video file using a ofxQtVideoSaver object.
The problem is that my camera outputs 30 FPS, and when I am recording the FPS go down to 20, something that I want to avoid.
What is the best way to record videos to disk using openframeworks? Is it possible to avoid a drop down in the FPS?
