Questions about drawing with ofSetBackground()

I am a newbie, I wonder if it will run out of RAM

void testApp::setup(){
  ofBackground(0, 0, 0);
  int mouseX = 0;
  int mouseY = 0;
void testApp::draw(){
  ofSetColor(255, 0, 0);
  ofCircle(mouseX, mouseY, 10);
void testApp::mouseMoved( int x, int y){
  mouseX = x;
  mouseY = y;

no, with ofSetBackgroundAuto(false), you’re drawing to the same buffer each frame that then get’s drawn to the screen without being cleared, so no matter how much circles you draw the used memeory is always the same. You can also check the system monitor to see how much ram an application is using and if it increases over time or not

Thanks alot for explanation ~
