Print on Linux, CUPS?

I want to print on linux
I found ofxCUPS, does work really nice on OSX
but not on linux
and this is the only thread i found on the topic

is it possible to print on linux from OF?
and is it the same problem for thermal Point of Sale printers?

Not sure about linux CUPS printers (it’s shouldn’t be too different for linux …), but for point of sale printers, you can use ofxESCPOS.
