passing text string from OF to email

hi

managed to incorporate

into the project I’m working on so many thanks to Filip (+ was very helpful to see the app you dev’d on your site)

anyway I’m now trying to figure how to get a text string from the main OF part of the app into the body of the email

I’ve been looking at the stuff in

but not making much progress so far

although I’m quite happy that after four weeks I’ve finally coughed up Apples dev fees and got an OF based app up & running on my G1 Touch

figured it

presumably is a lot more elegant solution than this if you know what you are doing…

but using a global var sorted it for me

allows user input text which is used to generate visual s to be passed to the email code & be used to populate email body
