pandaboard question about openGL ES

hi i’m going to buy a Pandaboard platform : http://pandaboard.org/ . you can install Ubuntu or Android. i saw that someone else is working on the beagleBoardXM : http://forum.openframeworks.cc/t/of-beagleboard/5020/0 . anyone has used the PandaBoardES (the new board…) with OpenFramework? The PandaBoard works with OpenGL ES standard, with which os (Ubuntu or Android OF) may i use it?
i want to use the Pandaboard for little videoinstallations dure to his great performances ( more than 1ghz of OMAP4460, and a powerful POWERVR™ SGX540 ), the board is very little 114.3 mm x 101.6 mm and less weight only 81.5 grams … for me young visual artist ,this is a great advantage , if i have to send via courier all the devices for the installation , the price for the shipping is cheaper…Dont you agree?
thanks to all for the attention.

i 've found this project on internet about using a pandaboard with Ubuntu Maverick operative system, openframework, processing e puredata :

this with Android operative system, openframework, kinect with ofxKinect:

that’ s great!

I’m glad this is picking up steam, I’d love to see a robust ARM branch of OF developed. I think I’d recommend trying to use the Linux branch rather than Android just to keep the the build proces simpler. I know Damian Stewart (http://frey.co.nz/) is running OF on the pandaboard but I haven’t seen much info on what if anything he needed to modify to get that working. I’m getting one soon, so I’ll be able to be more helpful shortly.

I think too so. I don’t need an Android app. Surely the build process is simpler in Linux!
My pandaboard will arrive in the middle of the next jenuary, so i have time to find info and maybe other instruction about probably problems or/and solutions. I will inform the OF forum of my development.

Best regards.
