I’m running an app where I’m loading thousands of svgs and there seems to be a lot of memory allocated onto the stack that is not cleared when I delete the svg objects.
I’m going to look into this further and see if I can pinpoint it but I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem?
are you using OF 0.9.8 or from nightlies / github. We changed the library ofxSvg uses internally from poco to libxml to parse svgs so it might be fixed / broken in the most recent version
Ah great, thanks Arturo, I’m on 0.9.8, I’ll try the nightly.
OK I’ve tried the new addon from the nightly, imported it into the 0.9.8 oF and the memory leak has indeed been fixed! Thanks
