Hey All, I’ve just published this https://github.com/edap/ofxSpaceColonization
It is an openFrameworks implementation of the space colonization algorithm, used to create generative trees. There is still room for improvement, but it works quite good.

In the repository there are two example apps that shows how to use it.


I’ve just published a video where this addon is used.

The meshes in the video are the same that you can create with the app that comes in the example folder.
I’ve added some perlin noise to the leaves that act as attractor.

And then I’ve removed the leaves
