ofxAssimpModelLoader Tutorials / Examples / Descriptions


I’m looking to do a project that requires me to upload a 3d model from a CAD model and then texture map each face individually. I’m not really sure how to do this with ofxAssimpModelLoader, but it definitely seems to be the right tool.

Right now I need to figure out how to access individual faces in a model, how to bind textures to them, etc. – but the lack of documentation for ofxAssimpModelLoader on the openframeworks docs makes it a bit difficult to sort out how to do that. I mostly feel like I’m just taking stabs in the dark at the moment, and some sort of tutorial examples, or docs for ofxAssimpModelLoader would help me figure out what functions I need to use.
