ofLight working with GL ES1 but not with GL ES2

I am using OF 0.9.0 nightly builds with iOS
ofLights works perfectly with

ofiOSWindowSettings settings;
settings.glesVersion = OFXIOS_RENDERER_ES1;

but nothing with

ofiOSWindowSettings settings;
settings.glesVersion = OFXIOS_RENDERER_ES2;

I am using some simple code such as:

ofEnableLighting();
light.setup();
light.enable();
light.setAmbientColor(ofFloatColor(0.5,0.5,0.5));
light.setPosition(sin(ofGetElapsedTimef())*0.1,cos(ofGetElapsedTimef())*0.1, -1);

//DRAWING STUFF

light.disable();
ofDisableLighting();
