ofCamera() basics help

Would anyone mind giving me a quick overview of how to setup a camera? I got the easyCam to work and have gone through the documentation and everything I can find on google but have not been able to find something that just goes over the basics of how to setup a camera.

I think my greatest confusion is that I have looked at this picture:

But there do not seem to be any functions to set said things… I tried the setNearClip and far but it did nothing.

Also, have a look in the examples folder, examples/3d/ there are 4 examples using cameras

in general, when you are stuck in a class that you don’t know how to use it, searching for the name of that class in the examples folder it may surprise you.
