OF apps suddenly have started crashing on Windows 7

I do hate Windows 7.

Suddenly, something has happened since Oct 3 (a Windows update? Antivirus issue?) that is causing our OF applications to crash when executed.

I’m writing to see if anyone else is witnessing this phenomena.

We’re using VS 2010 C++ Express on Windows 7, with OF v062.

(sorry for the cross-posting)

merged.
please specify in more detail what happens.

Using VS2010 Express, when I compile and run emptyExample, the project builds fine, the program starts, the console window appears, and then before the usual openGL window appears, a Windows 7 dialog pops up stating that “emptyExample_debug.exe has stopped working.” And if I expand the dialog’s “problem details” widget:

Problem Event Name: BEX
Application Name: emptyExample_debug.exe
Fault Module Name: StackHash_4c0d

I’m currently googling around and I see that “BEX” is a buffer overflow exception.

We’ve identified this problem as a conflict between DEP and AppSense.

Great, I have to rewrite half a semester’s worth of assignments to use the console instead of OF. Hooray! :-X
