OF 0.8.0 Visual Studio 2012 MSB4166

Hi

I’m experiencing a problem under Windows and Visual Studio 2012 recommended for OF. Since a few days now I can’t build my project since Visual studio fails with MSB4166 Child node “2” exited prematurely. It’s not a virtual memory issue as mentioned in one thread I’ve found on the internet. Did someone experience such an issue before and knows how to handle this?

Best regards,
P

It’s not even possible to compile emptyExample project. It just crashes.
I haven’t changed anything in my configuration for quite some time and it was working correctly so I don’t really have a clue what could’ve messed up the dev env setup.

are you running in a virtual machine? do you have a full log ?

this looks maybe useful :

It’s native Win7. I can’t find the logs since it points to some temporary directory but I don’t know which one. I’ve tried user’s temporary files, windows temp, etc. but there seems to be no MSBuild_*.failure.txt anywhere.

@Blacklion: Did you maybe find a solution to the issue? I’m still stuck
