need access to ofSoundGetSpectrum()

Hey guys,

Finally registered on the forums! I’ve been searching for ages and basically, i need a solution to let me access what I think is part of FFT on OSX.

i need to get support for the ofSoundGetSpectrum() function, but i’m really not sure what the best approach is.

Any advice would be appreciated and i would like to reiterate that I have searched Google quite a lot but information is sparse and inconsistent. Many thanks in advance for any help you can give.

check out the soundPlayerFFTExample that comes in the apps/examples/ directory with the openFrameworks release. it will explain how to use ofSoundGetSpectrum()
