First of all, as humble nobody I would like to thank the people who made the effort to bring something marvelous as openframeworks for free to all creative people over the world.
I started a small company in several things and have a dedicated server in France.
As there is still some space on it and a lot of bandwidth available, if there is any interest I propose to mirror OpenFrameworks and/or can start to translate the doc it into french for free as contribution.

Hi, I’m sure a translation in French would be super useful to spread it to french speakers.
Probably the best thing would be to start on a translation and then decide how best to mirror it…

Something could be even more interesting to me : a french section for this forum. I’m not confortable writing english, so I’m not participating as much as I could. I’m never sure I’m understandable, I can’t make jokes, it’s quite an effort to contribute.
I can help to create or maintain a french forum section. In the past I was one of the most active members in a french forum about actionscript (flash) programmation.
Would it be possible to create a french section ? Are there others french spoken people here interested ? What do you think about this idea dear current community and administrators ?
Pour ma part, j’aimerais encore plus avoir une section en français dans ce forum. Je ne suis pas très à l’aise en anglais, et du coup je ne participe pas autant que je le pourrais. Je passe trop de temps à écrire en anglais, sans jamais être tout à fait sûr d’être compris, et en plus je ne peux pas faire de blagues ni adopter un ton aussi sympathique et décontracté que je le souhaiterais.
Je peux éventuellement aider à mettre cela en place, et surtout je peux m’investir sur la maintenance, la modération si besoin. J’ai déjà fait ceci sur un forum français où on codait en actionscript, je faisais partie de ces accros qui finissent avec des milliers de posts à leur actif, j’ai beaucoup appris, beaucoup aidé, mais maintenant que j’ai laché flash cela me manque !
Serait-ce possible d’ouvrir une section en français ? Y a-t-il d’autres personnes que cela intéresserait ? Que pensez-vous de l’idée vous qui avez créé ce forum, et en assurez la modération et la maintenance ( soyez-en mille fois remercié) ?
