Memory leaks in most examples?

A lot of the examples seem to have memory leaks. For instance, creating a buffer and not freeing it when the application ends. The video grabber example and audio input examples do this for instance. Am I missing something?

since the allocation happens at setup, it’s not necessarily a memory leak, since it’s not occuring over the running time of the application. When you close the application, the operating system deallocates all memory that the application allocated (on it’s own), so AFAIK (and I could be wrong about this), it’s not unkosher to let the OS delete the buffers on exit. There are some things, like objects that need to free up used resources, where this *is* very important, like fileHandles, etc.
