Looking for an oF ready to use SD Image for RPI2 / Crosscompile on Windows

Hello,

anybody has or knows where can I download an openFrameworks ready to use SD image to download/share?

I am not pretty handy with Linux and would like to save some time, installing, updating, etc…

I think I have some RPI 2 B, some RPI 1.

PS:
And if not, any nice guide around to look into in 2022?
Raspbian or Arch Linux?
Anybody has success on cross compiling on Windows/macOS?

Regards

saw something just yesterday about it:
ofNode/of

I think the important part will be to use ofxCMake foir the CMake choice of toolchain on windows. With the same OF install on PI and windows, and then select rpi corresponding toolchain :

#from mingw64
cmake ../of -DCMAKE_TOOLCHAIN_FILE=${PWD}/../of/dev/arm-linux-gnueabihf-4.9.cmake -DRPI_ROOT_PATH='/tmp/rpi/root' -DOF_STATIC=ON -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Debug -G Ninja

Coming from here.
CRoss compiling is not easy, and I haven’t tested it sorry.

Hope this helps,

Best,

P

Thanks @pierre_tardif00 ,
I followed this guide to get “make” working on Windows:

https://openframeworks.cc/setup/msys2/

I just used the nightly msys2 build from the bottom of this page:
https://openframeworks.cc/download/

I compiled oF and an example and it worked.
Do not have tested Qt or MS Studio Code, but maybe I am close to get some RPi cross compile toolchain …

I’ll check your above links and also the official one:
https://openframeworks.cc/setup/raspberrypi/raspberry-pi-cross-compiling-guide/

And I’ll post here if I get some success.
