Logitech HD Pro Webcam with oF?

Hello,

I need a camera that can give me a lot of pixels for an augmented reality project.
Will the new HD webcams work with oF on Mac?! 720p or 1080p.

I know the software is not running on Mac but the camera does (as I read online).

Any other options that will not cost 100000$?!

Do you get 720p video out of it? I need to be able to feed the arktplus with a lot of pixels in order to gain distance in recognition…

you will be able to do 720 resolution with the vision pro, but you will get very low framerates. 7.5 fps as far as I can tell. 2 things to keep in mind, there will be framerates listed for MJPG and framerates for YuYV, the lower number (yuyv) may be the one OF uses. You might get better results at 720p using the newer c510 camera - its cheaper and will give you 15fps at 720p on mac in OF. The more expensive c910 is not worth it if you are on mac, in my opinion. (both those cameras get better framerates with proper drivers in Windows)

the list is a bit old though, and doesn’t have info about the new cameras.
