Does Openframeworks have a Yes/No choice dialogbox function under Windows or Android, or do we need to use native Os functions for these type of dialogboxes?
Good question. My recollection of looking is that there are some limited dialog methods that are not very developed. IIRC, the Android one will bring up a native dialog box, but getting it to ask Yes / No and get the result looked like I was going to need to do some non-C++ work. I put that on my “to do” list, but it got buried under other things to do.
There are a few OF addons for UI, some of which offer various styles of dialog IIRC. I tried using a couple of those, and in the end, ended up finding it much easier and more flexible to just write my own buttons, dialogs, drop-downs, etc., since drawing and detecting click/touch input is so easy in OF.
Thanks for your answer.Does ImGui have this kind of dialog function?
Thanks for your answer. It looks like a good solution.
