Installing OF on raspberry pi 2 with Arch linux

hey i been trying to install open frameworks on a raspberry pi 2 with arch linux follow the instructions but at the final step
Compile oF

make[1]: *** [makefileCommon/compile.core.mk:239: /home/def/of_v0.9.2_linuxarmv7l/libs/openFrameworksCompiled/lib/linuxarmv7l/obj/Release/libs/openFrameworks/types/ofParameter.o] Error 4
and can’t compile OF any idea how to fix this ?
thanks

Did you run the this scripts to resolves the dependencies? https://github.com/openframeworks/openFrameworks/tree/master/scripts/linux/archlinux_armv7

Also, Is there a reason why you are using 0.9.2 instead of 0.9.3?

hope it helps!

typically this means the compiler is running out of memory. If you are using a Desktop Environment you may want to save memory by disabling it.

@gllmar h i, yes i run the scripts and completes fine.
i actually just copy and paste from the OF guide to install arch, i’ll replace 9.2 for 9.3 see if i got better luck with that
THanks

@jvcleave that’s weird i have like 16 GB card maybe i missing some configuration on arch ? for that ?

I think that the memory jvcleave refer to is the split between ram and gpu memory. You have to have allocate more ram to compile initially but after you can allocate more memory on the gpu.

on raspbian it is covered with the raspi-config utility

with the memory split function.
