Installation up 4evr - Windows tricks?

Hi

I need to set up an installation that runs all continuously on four smaller Windows computers. I love the guide from the ofBook http://openframeworks.cc/ofBook/chapters/installation_up_4evr_macosx.html for Mac, but there is currently no tips for Windows. Does anybody know of a similar guide or some similar tricks for Windows?

Its basically the same for a PC in terms of setup, make sure screen never sleeps etc… Depending on the version of windows the way of enabling/disabling all the services is in the control panel

to launch the program at boot I just used scheduled tasks and have had essentially no problems

@AndreasRef I have been doing my version for windows for quite a lot of time, but I haven’t found the time to write it down properly.

A few tips:

Its also worth it to disable system repair, just in case a sudden power loss while writing/reading OS files. the steps are:

Press WindowsKey and type ‘cmd’ (without quotes), then hit Enter holding Ctrl+Shift pressed.
Confirm elevation for the Command Prompt application.
At the elevated command prompt type the following and hit Enter when you are done:
bcdedit /set {current} recoveryenabled No
