Installation problem in Ubuntu 18.04

This is the message I see when on the terminal I say

./compileOF.sh

./compileOF.sh: line 27: cd: too many arguments
make: *** No rule to make target 'Debug'. Stop.
there has been a problem compiling Debug OF library
please report this problem in the forums

My gcc version in 7.5.0 and I faced this problem with 3 of the linux releases. I was following the steps given in https://openframeworks.cc/setup/linux-install/. Where am I going wrong? Please help me out…

Hi,
I’ve compiled OF on Ubuntu 18.04 multiple times successfully, without this error…

Line 27 of the .sh has one variable ${SCRIPTPATH}
And I just read that cd: too many arguments may have to do with spaces in folder names, so can you see if that’s the case?
And if so: move the OF folder to some place without spaces in folder names
Hopefully it’s that simple :slight_smile:
