yeah i followed the instructions before, but when i download the openframeworks package, how can i update those libraries i´ve downloaded and add them to the projects?

thanks
greetings!

you can’t add the 0.06 package to 0.05, but you can take source code from 0.05 projects and add them to 0.06 examples. I think that’s what you’re asking, no?

does that make sense?

I can walk you through a porting from 0.05 to 0.06 if you want…

take care!

I think Zach posted the wrong link. The guide is here:

This is a very basic setup guide, but it doesnt explain how to get a project compiled properly when using addons.
Therefore, I just wrote a quick tutorial on getting addons compiled in a VS2008 project based on my current knowledge of that environment.

Check it out http://forum.openframeworks.cc/t/how-do-i-get-started-/2510/0

Hope this helps us Newbies!

I just downloaded the latest pre-release 0.61 and put into the VS2008 normal developers edition. It worked but it took a loooooong time to build each project the first time. Maybe my machine is slow, but I don’t normally have problems.

Once compiled, changes to the projects built relatively quickly.
