How can i automatically load files from a folder ?

Hi !

I’m looking for a way to load several files automatically from a folder : the user just puts the pictures in a folder known by the program, which loads them without knowing theirs names. Does anybody have a solution*?
I searched through the previous topics, but it seems that there is no relevant answer to my question.

* I don’t think that it is a good idea to make the users rename the files 1.gif, 2.gif, 3.gif, … but that’s all I have in mind for the moment. :confused:

use the ofxDirList addon.It comes with the FAT version of OpenFrameworks and does just what you want.

For the archive:
the add-on is now deprecated – use the standard class ofDirectory instead
