./guiExample Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Hi Need some help, I have https://ubuntustudio.org/2015/08/your-chance-to-help-beta-testing/ 15.10
installed and of_v0.9.0RC1_linux64_release installed but as I try to work through the example I get a segmentation fault when I run ./guiExample obviously i’ve done something wrong any suggestions ?

can you check the latest nightly build instead? also can you try to debug it to see where it’s crashing?

Thanks for the Response I’m Currently in another partition ubuntu 15.04 running of_v0.9.0RC1_linux64_release and working through the example wich so far seem to be building and running as designed

As you have probably guessed i dont do this for a living is this the info your after this is from ubuntustudio 15.10 beta

can you try the latest nightly build instead? we’ve changed some things in those functions since the RC1

Hi not sure of nightly build do i extract them in their own directory or extract them into the rc?

in their own directory, is the same structure as the rc or the normal release

thanks it just that of_v20150907_linux64_nightly is smaller

E: Command line option ‘n’ [from -n] is not known
apt-cache --help has no ‘n’ extention

These file’s are missing from the example’s in the nightly-build

so Im a bit stumped

there was a problem with the latest nightly builds, today’s are already fixed

Hi Arthuro, i have the same trouble when execute andy sample with ubuntu 15.10 and boost 1.58, did you solve this problem? is it my own trouble?
