*** glibc detected ***

Hey, all. I’m working with a simple version of ofxTCPClient to read a TCP stream from a location tracking system. So far it’s working great and I can make circles at the X and Y values of the “tags” in the tracking system as they move in real time. Now I simply want to add an image as a background, but when I try to load the image I get:

*** glibc detected *** /home/novysan/projects/of_preRelease_v007_linux64/apps/addonsExamples/locationTcpClient/bin/locationTcpClient: double free or corruption (top): 0x0000000000f12370 ***
======= Backtrace: =========
/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6(+0x78a96)[0x7f26d2d84a96]
/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6(cfree+0x6c)[0x7f26d2d88d7c]

and then a very long backtrace.

The loadImageExample works fine, so it has something to do with the network stuff I’m guessing?

Depending where in setup(); I place the loadImage(); call I get slightly different behaviors. If I place the loadImage(); before the tcpClient.setup(); I get the Backtrace. If I place the loadImage(); after the tcpClient.setup(); I get a Seg Fault. Ideas??

Just for giggles I rolled back to Windows and VS2010. Works like a charm with no issues. ??
