Floating point texture support in Openframeworks iOS development

Dear members,

I would like to use floating point textures and floating point frame buffer in iOS development within Openframeworks and therefore will be able to store data in GPU like I do recently in desktop OpenGL apps. (for instance RGBA32F ) However this feature is only supported in Opengl ES 3.0 available in latest ipad/iphones and within extensions of OpenGL ES2.0 (never tried tough).

Is there a possibility to implement this with any add ons or extensions in the current version of OF 0.8 ?

I have succeeded to converti 32bit float to RGBA 8888 however this is so impractical for me in these conditions.
