First time with code::blocks

I am trying to link libraries to code blocks. I have just downloaded open frameworks and am using it for the first time and this is my first time using codeBlocks.

I think I have linked all the libraries but I am getting a new error.

Error: conflicting declaration nof ‘typedef uint 32_t DWORD’

Has any one else had this problem.

OK, I found a fix on this website. But now I have a new problem.
I have a new error that says

error: redefinition of ‘struct tagRGBQUAD’

What file were you having these errors in?
Are you just trying to compile the example apps or actually link another library into an OF project?

If you are trying to compile the examples make sure you follow all the steps in the setup guide: http://www.openframeworks.cc/setup/code-…-etup-guide

Hopefully it is all working now though!

I am only trying to run one of the example apps. I think it is the polygon example file.

I followed all of those instructions but it still is not working.

I’m sorry, but I think you may have setup CB wrong, or picked the wrong mingw compiler for it.

are you on CB 8.02, with mingw?
is the compiler set write (I don’t have the IDE in front of me now, but look in the settings for the bin link of the compiler… I’ll post this later today where it is)
did you have another IDE like devc++ installed before?

can you try reinstalling it (CB with mingw) and try also on another windows machine?

I haven’t seen this problem unless you start altering the .h file includes.

also, a screen shot of your setup would help

can you take a screenshot of this panel, or just post what it says:

setting->compile and debugger->toolchain executables

Im especially interested in the compilers installation directory which might be wrong…

I also had Microsoft visual studio 2008 installed on this computer at one point. I don’t know if that can be causing problems.

Ok so I re-installed CB with mingw the mingw errors went away i think i installed the original package of cb the first time but I still get this error

error: redefinition of ‘struct tagRGBQUAD’

I get a list of errors but they all have to do with tagRGBQUAD
