Error when compiling with a new addon

I recently downloaded the ofxboost addon from github into my windows machine and i found this error when compiling for the first time.

error MSB6006: “CL.exe” exited with code -1073740777

I have added the addon into my addon directory and created a project via the project genrator .

do other examples compile fine?
this error looks related to VS but I’m not entirely sure what’s going on. a few links that look promising:

i think there was some setup problem…will come again if i find the problem again
