error: 'auto_ptr' is not a member of 'std'

I’m trying the examples in CodeBlocks and every time I try to build I get the error in the title on line 109 of FIFOStrategy.h:

std::auto_ptr pDelegate(delegate.clone());

Add "#include " (minus the quotes) to the top of the file.

There is another error (this time on line 108 – obviously now that I’ve put the extra include in its 109 for me), error: expected primary-expression before ‘>’ token.

Am I better off using VC++? I installed 2010 but it tried to convert every file for use in 2010 (I guess its setup for 2008) which I thought would get messy. Also I’m not sure which version of 2008 C++ to go for.
