DV Camera / quality

Hi,

I know there’s some topics around but I really wanted to be sure -

I’m trying to capture video from a 3ccd Camera DV with OF, on snow Leopard and I have some issues with quality / delay.
My iSight actually is rendering much better.

Is there some workaround to this issue ? Or should I go for a iSight external webcam / PS3 ?

I wanted to use this one for he optical zoom.

One thing that hurts DV input from non progressive scan DV cameras is field interlacing.
