Drawing ofLines in an ofImage


I have a set of points (x,y) and I’m trying to draw them in an ofImage that I’ll be using during the lifespan of my application.

From what I’ve read in the forums and understood, I can pretty much move a byte array of pixels anywhere I want, but ofLine seems to be an OpenGL wrapper, and I haven’t been able to figure out how to grab the pixels corresponding to that drawing canvas.

I’m probably also over complicating things; A friend once said, humans tend to over complicate things, there is always an easier answer.


search the forum for ofxFBO. it allows to use all opengl commands in something similar to an image, a texture, that you can then draw wherever you need
