I am sorry if this question has been asked before but a couple of searches didn’t turn anything up.
Is there a good way to get nice corner joins from OF so that when you draw a rectangle with a line width of 10 it has normal looking corners?
Well based on further research this doesn’t look like as simple a problem as I thought it would be. From what I can tell to be able to create nice looking rectangles with a line width > 1 will require modifications to ofRect.
I have worked up a modification that draws the rectangle using four lines that compensate for line width. It appears to work for even line widths but am still trying to figure out how opengl deals with odd line widths.
I have also run into a problem with missing pixels in corners which there was another not so recent post on at:
Well that is all for tonight.
