controlling servos with openframeworks

hi, im gonna start developing a new project, i need to control 6 servos with openframeworks, so my question is , which interface is the ideal for this?

can i do this with one arduino?
if not , what else do i need?



You’ll probably want to use an Arduino Mega, but you could also use the Sanguino or another of the larger controllers (there’s a few different ones that will work for controlling 6 servos). You could also attach a servo shield like this–…-ucts-id=81 but that might not work so well with firmata, I haven’t tried. oF to Arduino communication is done using Firmata, so check out the firmata example in the downloads to get started, the ofArduino class has methods for attaching and controlling servos.
