Connect 3 Macs

Could anyone advise the best approach to connect 3 macs.
I need to send simple data from one central mac to two others.
Am I right that I need to connect them via enthernet or WIFI?
Then I need setup local network, server and clients.

Which addons should I use?
Is there some tutorials for that?

you probably want to use ofxOsc which is the easiest way to send data from one OF app to another. And yes wifi or ethernet will do
