Carbon.h not found error

Hi, I’m new to OF and just downloaded OF 0007 osX, on XCode 4.2 and MacOs Lion…
Whenever I try to run a sample app, just out of the box, I get this error:
i686-apple-darwin11-llvm-gcc-4.2: /System/Library/Frameworks/Carbon.framework/Headers/Carbon.h: No such file or directory

I’ve read a solution on the forum regarding to moving the headers, but I don’t know how to perform the steps (I’m also new to XCode)… Could someone please guide me in a simpler step-by-step fashion, or in very basic sentences how to solve this?

Thanks a lot, much appreciated…

Just wanted to add that I’m using Mac-64 bit version and correct that I have XCode 4.3.2

Hello certomerto,

You need to set the openFrameworks Base SDK back to the “Current OSX”

Here’s how I fixed the ‘Carbon.h not found error’ on my system. I’m on OSX 10.8.3 running Xcode 3.2.6, OF 0.7.4 and Quicktime 7.6.6.

In Xcode, do ‘Project’ -> ‘Edit System Settings’. Select ‘Build’ tab. Select ‘Base SDK’. Switch it to ‘Mac OS X 10.6’. Close settings. Rebuild.
