Can't find option to install Common Tools for Visual C++ 2017

In the setup guide for Visual Studio is written:

To install Common Tools for Visual C++ 2017, go to File > New > Project and choose Visual C++ in the installed templates section. There now should be an option to install the tools

However, I’ve opened “File > New Project” and have choosen Visual C++, but I can’t find this option.

Thanks for any help!

Steve

Ok, I could compile and run a test example. Does this mean, that I hav Common Tools already installed?
