Can't create executable

I’ve made an of application in qtcreator and need to generate an executable file but I can’t find out how.
The application runs properly when I press run. I’ve build and deployed the project but there aren’t any executables in the build directory or anywhere else on my computer. How do I create the executable?

Edit: The executable needs to be runable on other ubuntu computers.

Look in the bin directory in your app folder… should be there

There’s only shared library files in the bin folder.

you can try to open a terminal in the bin folder and run the command :

if you are compiling it has to be there…dont have qt installed but is extrange.

You can open a terminal, navigate to that folder and run make

I just get “No such file or directory.”

make a new project with the project generator and try with that.

I get “make: ** No targets specified and no makefile found” I get that on the first project as well now.

maybe you are not doing make in the correct folder? for example apps/myApps/emptyExample here you have makefile

I was in the wrong file but in the correct file I get “Makefile:13: /home/libs/openFrameworksCompiled/project/makefileCommon/ No such file or directory
make: *** No rule to make target ‘home/libs/openFrameworksCompiled/project/makefileCommon/’. Stop”.

How do you installed openFrameworks?

Where does this path comes from… delete this download the of from untar the folder and run from that, you have a guide also to follow
