Can ofSetLogLevel(OF_LOG_SILENT); improve performance?

Hi, I wonder if disabling all the logs with ofSetLogLevel(OF_LOG_SILENT); can help improving performance of my app. (provided that ofLog() is being called many times)

it does but could be better, by not writing to the console it’ll save some time but we still need to figure out a way to make the log time disappear completely. right now there’s still some time used to check if the message should be logged at all which shouldn’t be a lot but if you are logging a lot of times per frame (which you probably shouldn’t) it might make a difference.
