I have been looking around a bit and I guess this is something I can find in an openGl tutorial but I am not completely sure what I am looking for. I want to bind multiple textures to different parts of a sphere. I cannot use an FBO and bind the FBO as the textures are too large to put together.
How can I do this and how can I specify where on the sphere the textures are bound and how much space they take.
Or maybe more realistically can someone tell me what these operations are called so I can investigate it further.
