Big Red Button

Hi all,

I just bought a big red button, to use for some fun prototyping. (http://www.play-asia.com/USB-Big-Red-Button/paOS-13-71-134-49-en-70-41t9.html)

Problem is that when I connect it to my computer, the button works, but doesnt pass on data like a mouseclick or a keyboard click. How can I find out, using openframeworks, when the button is actually clicked?

looking at the manual/software page it looks like it just interacts with the packaged app and I didn’t see any APIs available. If the URL option sticks you could run an OF app/HTTP server that listens to a local URL and responds. Otherwise you would have to start sniffing the USB packets and start from the ground up.
